When it comes to helping the homeless, we typically just think of donating food. But, did you know that socks are actually the most needed item at homeless shelters?

WHAT: As cooler temperatures draw closer, the Denver Chapter will be donating socks to children and teens at a local homeless shelter, The Family Tree. Volunteers will be filling the socks with Halloween camdy to add some sweetness and smiles to their day!

WHEN: Monday, October 23rd from 6:30PM- 8:30PM

WHERE: Sheridan Library (in the Thersa Dando Meeting Room)
3425 W. Oxford Avenue Denver, CO 80236

WHO: All interested volunteers! Max of 20 volunteers needed. Kids are welcome to come help, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

DON'T FORGET!

*We welcome you to donate wool and/or fleece socks (kid and adult sizes), and/or a bag of your favorite Halloween candy. (nothing that contains nuts)

*Please bring these items to this Unified Promise, or give to Nicole Savage (Unified Promise Lead) at our October 11th Meetup. Thank you for your support!
