Many Senior Citizens in Denver live here with no family and even more are homebound. Taking pride in their yard is something that can give so many great joy. But being able to clean out your yard, wash the windows and plant flowers is something we can all take for granted.

Join Because I Said I Would Denver in putting the smiles on the faces of our fellow Denver Senior Citizens as we give them a Spring yard they can be proud of!

On May 13 at 9am we will meet up at several Seniors homes around the Denver metro where we will be raking/bagging leaves, trimming bushes, sweeping patios, washing outside windows on lower levels, removing weeds and cleaning out flower beds. Volunteers will need to bring their own work gloves, hats, sunscreen, water, etc. Although we ask seniors to provide all the tools needed at their home (rakes, bags, window cleaner, rags, trimmers, etc.), many volunteers bring and use their own tools which will be helpful!

Please RSVP for this event on Facebook but also send an RSVP email to Nicole Savage at nicoles@becauseisaidiwould.com
And a few days prior to the event you will recieve your home address via email where you will be working.
